Hi guys,
Hope this new blog finds you all well! Been a while since I posted an update, that I thought I'd share some of my random ideas with you! Recently, I was speaking with a new friend of mine and I described art and music as above life itself....guess what I was trying to say is that long after we depart this fine life, all that's left is the work we have striven to produce, which represents us and our experiences. But, at what price does this art come? I am very much delighted that so many people have viewed my music video for the Cavalry song, but if you only knew where the inspiration came from, you might question that the price is sometimes too high! |

Hi Guys, Now that the latest Sanguine Sea music video "Until The Cavalry Come" has well exceeded the 10,000 hit mark on Youtube and on the official site, I would like to give something back and offer a little thank you to all who have clicked play. In doing so, you have shown so much love, support and dedication! As a solo singer/songwriter, you sometimes feel lost in a solitary world, but when you receive that much feedback, it truly blows you away! ***** NEWSLETTER UPDATE FOR FEBRUARY 2013 ***** Hope 2013 has been kind to all fans of Sanguine Sea so far and I just know that the rest of the year will fill all it's promises too! I have been overwhelmed with the support, love and kindness which MTV, Sony and all of you have greeted the video for "Until The Cavalry Come"...frankly humbled! So, with a heart full to overflowing, here's all the other news on the latest projects already underway this year; - Video hits have now exceeded 10,000 (combined)

Since the release of the Sanguine Sea "Until The Cavalry Come" music video a few months back, the feedback has been amazing!! I have had so much interest from small indie labels, which in itself is both flattering and infuriating! So many small 'Indie' labels are small for a reason. They lack experience, budgets, ambition and organisation and most serve only to waste an artists time, energy and hopes! What I want to know is WHERE ARE THE MAJOR LABELS HIDING OUT THESE DAYS? |

Been awhile, so I hope you are all well. What an eventful 6 months it has been for Sanguine Sea. Love's gain, Love's lost, songwriting inspiration overflow with many new tracks added to the repertoire and a brand new video to boot... Not now, but one day, I will tell you all the story behind the making of the video! It is a mystery, even now, how I managed to pull it off! But perhaps BBC4 or Channel 4 will broadcast a "The Making of Until The Cavalry Come" 10 years from now? |

Already, the special Logo Sanguine Sea T-Shirts in black have sold-out in sizes Large and Small (still some 'mediums' left)...However, no sweat! Following on from my last Blog about 'Songwriting Inspiration', the recent Riots in London have had me thinking about our roles in today's society. Can it be that we have given ourselves over to commercialism so much so, that when the credit gravy-train dried up and we no longer are offered all these shiny new techy goodies as 'buy now pay later', we then have no option but to steal/loot/thieve them? Have we really become a society which believes we deserve what is on offer and we will have them at any cost? |

Hi to all my wonderful Sanguine Sea Fans, Just wanted to take some time out from writing new tracks for the upcoming album, to chat a while about inspiration! It occurred to me the other day how blessed we all are to have such varied and differing lives and when we get the chance to meet new people and hear their stories of life, love, loss and all the other 'L's', it makes us the richer and inspires us to greater things...... As to the new Sanguine Sea tracks, the inspiration is pouring from thoughts and feelings that seem embedded into my heart and soul. |

The symbolism of the number '8', deals largely with business, success, and wealth. This is due to the fact that '8' represents continuation and cycles. Such elements are seen in arenas wheresuccessis obtained simply because of dogged determination. Also, matters of business and wealth largely depend on cycles to fulfill their manifestation. It's like the snowball analogy: As it continues to roll, in gets bigger and bigger with each revolution. '8' represents that kind of momentum. |
