Currently working on the follow-up video to "Until The Cavalry Come" (see below if you haven't had a chance to see and hear it yet!). Well, it has been confirmed that a HUGE global sound equipment company will be promoting the new video "I Am Ghost" and not only that, but a very famous, talented and acclaimed musician will be joining me for the recording session!!! Watch this space, as I will be revealing all in the very near future!! Sanguine Sea is really taking off and I thank each and every one of you for your support, loyalty and dedication over the past 2 years.

This is an extraordinary reaction to a video which was produced more from inspiration, team-work and belief, than massive budget and ego! I am so proud of all the team involved and a special thanks to MTV, Sony and all you wonderful supporters of Sanguine Sea. *** Sanguine Sea Biography ***
Looking towards the future, with one eye firmly fixed on the past, Sanguine Sea consist of singer/songwriter Alan A. Redmond, originally from Dublin, Ireland, now based in Norwich, England, with occasional guest performances from local musicians. Alan A. wrote his first song "Travelling Show" at the age of 12 on a second-hand guitar, so big that his face wasn't visible for years, and has played in bands in Dublin and London.
Sanguine Sea now perform in many venues and bring the live original set nationwide to small venues and festivals. Since leaving Dublin at the age of 17, he has derived inspiration for his music through the people he has met and the experiences he has had, whilst living in Dublin, London, Frankfurt and Amsterdam. The Band's original music aims to rip your heart out and feed it back to you, and is both emotive and in part, autobiographical. It focuses heavily upon melody within the body of each song. The band have been described as 'Scott Walker meets Crowded House in an Irish Bar', which is quite apt, as songs like "Out of the Blue", "In All of These Years" , "9 Months in the Wilderness" and "Swallow Me Up!" will confirm.

Hey!! It's in the bag :-) "Until The Cavalry Come" has been recorded, with the Killamonjambo Brass & Rhythm sections and sounds fabulous!! The video has been shot and is currently in edit. Hoping to hand it over to MTV HO New York by month-end and fingers crossed they will be sufficiently impressed to launch coverage all over MTV and their sister channels VH1 and CMT....The video is powerful in it's subject matter and the dramamatic nature of the shoot will have you on the edge of your seat, and hopefully wanting to watch it over and over!! Further updates coming soon...Exciting times for Sanguine Sea!

Sanguine Sea has decided to take a well-earned break from writing and touring, to focus all energies into creating a video for his new track "Until The Cavalry Come". The video will be directed by Alexandra Bone, who has recently worked with Ed Sheeran, and is being sponsored by MTV, through it's New York offices. It will be both harrowing and enthralling and will be guaranteed to have you on the edge of your seat!!
*** New Songs from Sanguine Sea***
It has been something of a purple patch recently, with many new songs being added to Sanguine Sea's extensive repertoire. Watch out for previews of brand new tracks "I Am Ghost", "Hand & Foot" and "Fingertip" very soon.
